FAQs - Lean Culture Transformation Blended Learning Program

Who is this program for?

This program is for any leader responsible for deploying cultural changes within a facility, team, or company at large (OpEx, Operations, Training/Development, HR, etc.).

Are there prerequisites for this course?

There are no prerequisites for this course per se. You can jump into the course and flow through the different steps without prior knowledge or experience in transformation. That said, what would make it the most valuable is to have a working situation where you see an opportunity to improve and you can relate what you are learning to your organization.

What is the time commitment break-down (pre and post-work)?

Due to the distinctive nature of LeanCor's prescribed transformation steps, courses will vary in total length from 90 minutes up to 2 hours (includes self-paced online content and scheduled webinars). So, an example course could be broken down like this:

  1. Self-Paced Online Content (Pre-Work): Interactive Introduction Module in LMS (1/2 Hour)
  2. Live/Virtual Session (Scheduled Webinar): Wed, Apr 29 | 11:00 - 12:00 p.m. EST (1 Hour)
  3. Self-Paced Online Content (Post-Work): Test Your Knowledge Exercise in LMS (Approx. 5 Minutes)

Total Time of Course = 95 Minutes

How do the webinars work with this program?

Once each live webinar has happened, it will be posted as part of the online course in our Learning Management System (LMS) to be revisited at any time on demand. Pre-webinar work will consist of combinations of introductory videos and reflection questions/exercises in the LMS that set the table for the webinar.  The duration of content will take around 15-20 minutes plus the time spent answering any preparation questions.

Can I implement this in my organization as I go along?

Although there are scheduled webinars in the launching period of this program, it works best when your transformation pace dictates your steps (assessment, training selection, etc.). With that said, we would recommend implementing after you’ve completed the program.

Do I have to be employed in order to take this course?

It is highly recommended that you are employed or partnered with an organization where you can apply your learning and yield the optimal return of this program.

Is there a certification exam with this course?

There is not an exam, rather we issue a certificate of completion upon finishing the eight-course program. Completion is tracked through our LMS software and attendance at live sessions through GotoWebinar. (All live sessions will be recorded and available to watch on demand in the LMS in case you miss one.)
