Length: 45-Minute Instruction, 15-Minute Q&A

A Plan For Every Part (PFEP) is a material flow plan that includes specific data on every part number coming from suppliers and every finished good SKU going to customers. This strategy, like other proactive strategies, focuses on implementing on “pull systems” where material replenishment is triggered by consumption at line side.

During this course, attendees will:

• Learn the high-level requirements and process to implement an optimized PFEP strategy
• Discuss how to use these strategies to uncover opportunities for improving cash flow, reducing operating expenses, and improving quality
• Understand how PFEP affects and integrates primary business units including:

  1. Purchasing and replenishment
  2. Transportation procurement and operations
  3. Warehousing operations
